Boys Summer Advanced Playmaker Camp

Service Description

The Kellian Hockey Advanced Playmaker Training Camp is geared towards players who want to improve on developing their understanding of the strategies of game play. Players will be on the ice for 2 hours per day, Monday-Friday, without the off-ice component. These camps are meant for players aged 13-15 yrs (boys). 12 yr old players will be considered with a recommendation from their current coach. With a low coach to camper ratio, each skater will receive a lot of personal attention. The emphasis of this Kellian Hockey summer camp is centered around more advanced game-play creativity techniques such as using 7 different types of passing, odd-man situational play and strategy. Along with the emphasis of game strategy, the boys will engage in a body checking unit. Players will be grouped according to skill and experience to ensure a positive learning environment. For the most in depth experience, players should also enroll in the Advanced Skills Training Camp. During that camp, players will be developing a strong base of fundamental skill with their skating, stickhandling and shooting. Players will also will experience a body checking unit. This two-week training experience will be an excellent way for players to learn "how to train" and prepare for the upper levels of their career.
